The goal at Innovators in Our Community (IOC) is to support social entrepreneurship in Southern California by investing in people and groups that are working to address social problems in our communities.

We’re looking for both non-profit and for profit, early to late stage social ventures, that are on the path to becoming self-sustaining enterprises driving long-term change and innovation at the community level.

IOC Application

IOC is looking for early to late stage social ventures that are on the path to becoming self-sustaining enterprises driving long-term change and innovation at the community level. They can be non-profit or for profit, they just need a social goal focused on improving our community.

We understand that some social ventures will be more developed than others. While there is one application for both early and late stage ventures, our suggestion is to provide as much information as possible. If there are areas where you need support and guidance – tell us that on the application. The goal of the application is to help us gain a clear understanding of your venture, how it helps the community and what you need to be successful.

Below are guidelines to help you through the application process. The IOC application will take you approximately one hour to complete

Please include as much of the following information as possible:

  • The mission and goals of your venture
  • Your leadership team and their resumes
  • Financials from 2013 - present and projected financials for 2015

Please note you are not be able to save the application form while filling it out, be sure to allot enough time and have the needed information organized in advance.
